Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline production processes.
- Conduct value stream mapping to identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing workflow.
- Utilize AutoCAD to design equipment layouts and tooling that enhance production efficiency.
- Create and maintain work instructions to ensure consistent manufacturing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve product design.
- Manage projects related to ergonomic improvements and layout generation for manufacturing facilities.
- Analyze capital expenditures to recommend investments in new equipment and technology.
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address production challenges and enhance overall performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment layout design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
- Knowledge of tooling, materials, and product design principles.
- Experience in project management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on customer service and ethical standards.
