The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficient production workflows. The Manufacturing Engineer will leverage their expertise in CNC machining and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes using CNC machining techniques.
- Analyze and optimize production workflows for efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Utilize CAD software to create and review engineering drawings and specifications.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve processes.
- Manage projects related to process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Evaluate materials and their suitability for specific manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient in CAD software and product design principles.
- Familiarity with quality assurance practices and materials science.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading projects.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex problems.
- Understanding of ISO standards and engineering drawings.
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques and automation.
- Familiarity with SAP and Windchill is a plus.
