We are seeking a skilled Materials Supervisor to oversee our inventory and material management processes. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective handling of materials while implementing continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and be adept in supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage inventory and materials handling processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Lead and develop a team of materials personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Implement and monitor inventory management systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to enhance material flow and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their material needs and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on inventory levels, material usage, and process efficiencies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, material management, and supply chain processes.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
