Mechanical Assembly Supervisor

Position Overview

The Mechanical Assembly Supervisor will oversee the assembly process in a manufacturing environment, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. The supervisor will lead a team of assembly workers, manage schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mechanical assembly team.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and OSHA standards in all assembly operations.
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine assembly requirements.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate assembly staff on best practices in mechanical assembly and welding techniques.
• Monitor assembly processes and troubleshoot issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of welding and pipe fitting techniques.
• Familiarity with machine assembly procedures and metal fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Driver's License
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Knowledge of Microsoft office
