Mechanical Design Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage project teams, facilitating communication and collaboration among engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct load calculations and equipment sizing to ensure efficient and effective design solutions.
• Utilize BIM and Revit software for creating accurate design models and drawings.
• Review and approve plumbing design, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to meet building codes and standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architectural Design
• 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design, preferably in healthcare or critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, plumbing design, and HVAC systems.
• Proficient in BIM and Revit software.
• Experience with load calculation, equipment sizing, and energy modeling.
• Familiarity with building codes and life safety systems.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
