Position Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer/Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating efficient, sustainable, and code-compliant mechanical systems. You'll collaborate closely with architects, electrical engineers, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive, high-quality building solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering/design, specifically in the AEC industry.
• Proficiency in HVAC design, load calculations, ductwork, and piping design.
• Working knowledge of BIM/Revit (highly desirable).
• Familiarity with energy modeling software and sustainability principles.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is desired but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for mechanical systems, including HVAC ductwork, heating hot water piping systems, and building management controls, aligned with project requirements.
• Conduct heating and cooling load calculations, duct sizing analyses, and piping design calculations to support system efficiency and performance.
• Provide accurate documentation supporting design choices and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Utilize energy modeling software to optimize system performance while adhering to sustainability principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders, to deliver integrated project designs.
