We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet both functional and safety standards. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing processes and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components with a focus on manufacturing processes.
- Conduct analyses using DFMEAs and PFMEAs to ensure reliability and safety of designs.
- Utilize CAD software for mechanical modeling and simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select components and create product specifications.
- Perform testing and evaluations to validate design performance under seismic and other conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive product documentation including operating instructions and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant design codes and safety standards such as UL, CE, NEC, IBC, and NFPA.
- Assist in HVAC equipment design when necessary, applying knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing and mechanical design.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with DFMEAs, PFMEAs, CFD, and FEA analysis techniques.
- Experience with design codes and safety standards related to mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in Mechanical CAD modeling and simulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage projects in a high-pressure environment.
