We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems to support the development of innovative solutions and improve production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, modify and install new and existing manufacturing equipment
- Modify or improve cell development and assembly equipment
- Make recommendations for process development and help direct the design, procurement, fabrication, installation, processing, and baselining of all hardware related to the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets production requirements and specifications
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance program for all equipment; develop critical spare parts list
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments of new equipment and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing equipment design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Experience with web handling, vacuum deposition and coating systems highly desired
- $80k - $100k Salary DOE
