Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD and SolidWorks.
- Conduct thermodynamic and fluid mechanics analyses to support design decisions.
- Perform materials selection and testing to ensure suitability for applications.
- Oversee HVAC system design and implementation for various projects.
- Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity under specified conditions.
- Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring milestones are met.
- Conduct engineering analysis to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
- Develop prototypes and oversee testing and validation processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks for design tasks.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics principles.
- Knowledge of materials science and selection processes.
- Experience with HVAC design and implementation.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques and software.
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to lead teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in prototyping, testing, and validation of engineering solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to mechanical engineering.
