Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work for mechanical systems.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and HVAC systems, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project details and requirements.
- Research and analyze market trends to inform pricing strategies and ensure competitive bids.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and documentation for future reference.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the mechanical or HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
