We are seeking a skilled MEP Project Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP systems are designed, installed, and operated according to specifications, building codes, and project requirements, while effectively managing resources, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control of MEP installations.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and stakeholder communication.
- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and construction management practices.
- Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholders and contracts effectively.
- Proven leadership abilities in managing multidisciplinary project teams.
