Key Responsibilities
- Conduct materials analysis and testing to evaluate properties and performance of metals and alloys.
- Develop and implement processes for heat treating, welding, and coating of metals to enhance their durability and performance.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to optimize material selection and processing techniques.
- Troubleshoot metallurgical issues in production and provide solutions to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in metallurgical engineering to integrate best practices into projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in metallurgical engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of metallurgy principles and processes, including welding and heat treating techniques.
- Familiarity with cold forging and cold forming processes and coatings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
