Operations Manager - Commercial Roofing

Operations Manager - Must be located in Central Florida

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our roofing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of commercial construction projects, enhancing productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong leader with a background in roofing and operations management to drive our team towards achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of roofing projects to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Oversee a small team
• Manage ordering of materials and equipment necessary for roofing jobs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of crew safety
• Monitor productivity levels and implement strategies for improvement
• Maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to meet client expectations
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance performance
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager in the roofing or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, including Single-Ply and Metal roofing
• Demonstrated ability to manage sales functions and client relationships
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
