We are seeking an experienced Optical Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of optical systems, with a focus on integrating advanced optical technologies into our products. This role requires a strong understanding of optics and photonics to drive innovation and improve our optical performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop optical systems for a variety of applications.
- Conduct optical simulations and analyses using software such as Zemax and TracePro.
- Perform thermal analysis of optical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop integrating sphere designs for light measurement applications.
- Utilize LEDs and lasers in the development of optical solutions.
- Engage in remote sensing projects, applying optical techniques to gather and analyze data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical components into larger systems.
- Test and validate optical systems to meet performance specifications.
- Bachelor's (Master's degree or PhD preferred) in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Proven experience in optical system design and development.
- Strong knowledge of optics and photonics principles.
- Proficiency in optical simulation software (Zemax, TracePro).
- Experience with SolidWorks for designing optical components.
- Familiarity with light measurement techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of remote sensing technologies and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
