Job Description:
Overhead Crane Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Service Technician to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance of overhead cranes and hoists.
This role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, conducting routine maintenance and inspections, and providing exceptional service to clients.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including 480V and 3-phase motor systems.
- Perform mechanical repairs and adjustments to crane components.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA standards during all service activities.
- Install and replace parts as necessary to maintain crane functionality.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and hoists, with a minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
Prior experience with overhead cranes is beneficial but not required. A technical degree or certification in a related field is also a plus.
