What You Will Do
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and trust amendments.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status.
- Organize and maintain client files and documents, ensuring all materials are compliant with legal regulations.
- Assist with probate matters, including filing documents with the court and communicating with relevant parties.
- Conduct legal research to support estate planning strategies and compliance with local laws.
- Prepare trust and estate administration documents and correspondence.
- 2 years of experience in Trust & Estate Planning or a related field.
- Paralegal certification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of estate planning documents, probate process, and applicable laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
