We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support our legal team in various civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings while ensuring compliance with court procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation
- Draft and file legal documents and correspondence
- Manage and organize case files and documentation
- Attend court proceedings and take notes as required
- Communicate with clients and third parties regarding case updates
- Assist in the preparation of appellate court filings
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Paralegal certification is a plus
- 2 years of experience in civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of court procedures and legal documentation
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania and New Jersey court systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
