Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and case files
- Conduct legal research to support defense strategies
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, and motions as required
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information
- Prepare trial exhibits and assist in trial preparation
- Attend court hearings and assist attorneys as needed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal studies or a related field
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and principles, particularly in defense and litigation
- Experience in personal injury and wrongful death cases is preferred
- Ability to conduct legal research efficiently and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software
