The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trust and estate planning, probate administration, and related legal matters. This role involves leading a team of attorneys, managing client relationships, and providing strategic guidance to clients on complex estate issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Trusts, Estates, & Probate department.
- Provide expert legal advice on estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff within the team.
- Draft and review legal documents related to trusts, estates, and probate cases.
- Represent clients in probate court and other legal proceedings.
- Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting trusts and estates.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in trusts, estates, and probate law.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning strategies and probate procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and leading a legal team.
