Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all aspects of plant operations including production scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste, implementing Lean Manufacturing principles where applicable.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Develop and implement strategies for energy efficiency, focusing on the use of natural gas and biogas production technologies.
- Oversee the training and development of staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, quality, and safety, making adjustments as necessary to meet targets.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability and quality of raw materials and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in plant operations management, preferably in the Oil and Gas or Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical gear, Thermal Oxidizers, flow meters, and gas analyzers.
- Experience with natural gas production, biogas production, and renewable natural gas.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and maintenance systems.
- Understanding of automated packaging equipment and food packaging processes.
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
