- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science/ Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
- 8 Years of Estimating Experience
- Experience working in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (or similar takeoff software)
- Experience in Design/Build is a plus
- Experience with Warehouse, Distribution, and/or Industrial type projects is a plus
- Prepare estimates conceptually utilizing general ideas and plans established by clients in both competitive and negotiated markets.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment required to meet the provisions of the contract.
- Solicit and review quotes from vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Reviews preliminary project general conditions, construction equipment requirements and projected cost and develops final project general conditions for review with Management.
- Assist Management with final determination of successful subcontractors and major equipment vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks.
- Build effective relationships with co-workers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
