The Product Engineering Specialist will play a critical role in the design, development, and improvement of products. This position focuses on engineering design, prototyping, and ensuring quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle, aiming to enhance product performance and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and requirements.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering designs and prototypes.
- Conduct testing and validation of prototypes to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for engineering processes and product designs.
- Implement design for manufacturability principles to optimize production processes.
- Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of product engineering deliverables.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
- Apply Agile methodologies to streamline product development and foster continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering design and prototyping, preferably in a product development environment.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and testing protocols.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Experience in project management and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability concepts and practices.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
