Production Manager/Supervisor - Chemical Manufacturing

Headquartered in Houston Texas, we are looking for someone out of our Sunray, Texas location. We specialize in our soot/graphite! We have made our way to over 15 countries and are continuing to grow and expand all over the world! We service markets in industrial rubber, tire rubber, and any specialty carbon!

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager/Supervisor for our Chemical Manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will oversee production processes, ensure safety compliance, and drive operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. This role is crucial in managing resources, coordinating logistics, and optimizing production schedules to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Manage equipment maintenance and ensure optimal operation of production machinery.
• Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Coordinate logistics and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Monitor production metrics and prepare reports on performance and efficiency.
• Manage profit and loss for the production department, identifying areas for cost reduction and increased profitability.
• Facilitate labor relations and ensure a positive work environment for production staff.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance regulations and quality control processes.
• Experience in sales forecasting and scheduling in a manufacturing context.
• Proven ability in equipment maintenance and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong logistics coordination and inventory management skills.
