Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure optimal operation of production machinery.
- Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate logistics and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor production metrics and prepare reports on performance and efficiency.
- Manage profit and loss for the production department, identifying areas for cost reduction and increased profitability.
- Facilitate labor relations and ensure a positive work environment for production staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance regulations and quality control processes.
- Experience in sales forecasting and scheduling in a manufacturing context.
- Proven ability in equipment maintenance and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong logistics coordination and inventory management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective labor relations management.
