Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production goals.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Train and mentor production team members, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports on performance metrics for management review.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on food production.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve production processes.
