Position Overview

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. This role involves leading a team of production workers, implementing continuous improvement strategies, and ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production goals.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Train and mentor production team members, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Analyze production data and prepare reports on performance metrics for management review.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on food production.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve production processes.
