Job Title: Program Operations Manager

Salary: $150-180k base salary

Requirements: 7 years of experience in program management or underwriting within the insurance industry, with a focus on P&C

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager for our Insurance division who will oversee and coordinate various insurance projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance operations, particularly in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance, and experience working with carriers and Managing General Agents (MGAs). This role aims to ensure that programs are delivered efficiently and meet the strategic objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee insurance programs from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including carriers and MGAs, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Contributing to the onboarding projects of new facilities ensuring they become operational once contracts have been agreed to with proper documentation and efficient data feeds
• Analyze project performance and metrics, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
• Directing and managing the day-to-day activities of the MGA/Client and leading ongoing efforts related to the development, optimization, and efficiency improvements, ensuring that the needs of both internal and external stakeholders are understood and addressed
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field
• 7 years of experience in program management within the insurance industry
• Strong P&C industry knowledge, with a demonstrable understanding of the marketplace, the underwriting process and overall insurance company operations
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations, including regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience working with carriers and MGAs to drive project success.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
