Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support our government contracting projects. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and management of various civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet all specifications and regulations while staying within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of government contracting projects, including those for USACE, NAVFAC, and DoD.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Help manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and standards.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Support the Project Manager in developing project documentation and plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering or project management, preferably in government contracting.
- Familiarity with USACE, NAVFAC, and DoD projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
