Key Responsibilities
- Learn to prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project schedules
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and site conditions
- Analyze bid documents and specifications to prepare proposals
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with budget and timeline
- Assist in the preparation of contracts and manage procurement of materials and services
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Estimator in the heavy civil construction industry
- Field work is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management practices
- Proficient in estimating software and project management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
