Project Engineer

Location: Arkadelphia, AR

Salary: $80-130k DOE

Position Overview

The Project Engineer will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within the food manufacturing sector. This role emphasizes effective project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for capital projects in food manufacturing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and facilities teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare engineering instructions and documentation to guide project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and project team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in capital projects within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process controls, and packaging equipment.
• Certifications such as Certified Project Engineer (CPE) are preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various teams.
