Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage heavy civil and marine projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Conduct contract negotiations and management effectively.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management.
- Estimate project costs and manage budgets to ensure profitability.
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
- 5 years proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil or marine construction projects.
- Strong skills in contract negotiation and management in required.
- Experience with project scheduling and estimating.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word is a must. AutoCAD, Primavera and EPR software, Sage Timberline is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in construction.
- Competitive compensation ranging from $150,000.00 - $200,000.00/year
