The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record in managing complex projects in the heavy construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to deliver project specifications
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities
- Prepare and present project progress reports to upper management
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records of all project activities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy construction or civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction practices, including paving, roadways, and underground utilities
- Familiarity with DOT and FDOT standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
