Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

I spoke with the hiring manager about this role the other day, and he told me that he's looking for a Project Manager with experiencing working on water or wastewater treatment plants...

Plus, this company pays top dollar (120k-$200k depending on experience), but that's not what is most interesting about this opportunity...

What's cool about this company is that they hire for the long term NOT one-off projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project planning, execution, and delivery for mechanical construction projects
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee contract negotiations and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Utilize project management software and tools like AGTEK, Bluebeam, HCSS, or HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
• Guide and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with water/wastewater treatment plants
• 3 years professional experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with construction practices related to earthwork, grading, trenching, water main, sewer main, and large diameter piping.
• Proficient in project management software tools such as AGTEK, Bluebeam, HCSS, or HeavyBid.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
