Job Summary
The Project Manager will oversee and manage new construction and renovation projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and onsite personnel, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Oversee all aspects of construction to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Oversee project close-out activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and handover to clients.
- Previous experience in construction project management, particularly in new construction and renovation projects, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with self-performed trades such as demolition, rough and finish carpentry, doors and hardware, metal stud framing, drywall, finish taping, and acoustical treatments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Has used On Center Software
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
