Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project execution, including subcontractor management, equipment procurement, and material sourcing
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures
- Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns
- Manage project risks and implement contingency plans as needed
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals and objectives
- Prepare and present project reports to upper management and stakeholders
- Maintain project documentation and ensure all project records are accurate and up-to-date
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
- Experience with P6 and HCSS software is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of safety and quality control standards in the construction industry
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals
