Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Heavy Civil projects to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, resources while ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Heavy Civil construction projects, including roads, streets, bridges, and infrastructure developments.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely completion and adherence to financial constraints.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, outlining progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to foster collaboration and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within Heavy Civil construction.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure projects including widening roads, asphalt overlays, and street construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
