Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also managing risks and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial projections
- Coordinate, schedule, and manage contractors and subcontractors
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and trade workers to develop construction projects
- Order and manage materials and equipment
- Provide internal reports
- Oversee and supervise project progress, reporting on timelines, milestones, and adjustments
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, inspections, city guidelines, and local/state regulations
- Perform cost estimation tasks
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
