We are looking for an experienced QCM to join our Buildings' team and work on projects in our Chicagoland area.
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the construction process. This includes ensuring the safe and timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control systems and processes. This role will also involve providing guidance and training to personnel to ensure quality control standards are met.
Position Overview: The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing the entire quality control process for construction projects, from the planning and design stages through to completion. This role will involve working with other departments to ensure quality control standards are met and deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner. The Quality Control Manager will be expected to identify and address any quality control issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control systems and processes that are compliant with industry standards.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of quality control activities.
- Analyze and review project plans and specifications, from initial stages to completion.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Conduct inspections of construction sites and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct tests and analysis of construction materials to ensure compliance with standards.
- Create and maintain reports of quality control activities and results.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that construction projects meet quality control standards.
- Provide guidance and training to personnel on quality control processes.
- 5 Years Field Experience in QA/QC and/or Construction Inspections working on Vertical Construction projects
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Ability to prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alongside PM's, Superintendents, Engineers, and other Quality Control Team Members
- Attention to detail while conducting in-process testing and inspections
- Strong knowledge of industry building, bridge, and highway standards
- QA/QC and Inspection Certifications a plus
- $95,000 - $125,000 base salary (depending on experience)
