We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and processes. The ideal candidate will focus on quality assurance and quality control, working closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to identify and resolve quality issues, enhance product reliability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Conduct product inspections and audits to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
- Maintain and improve the quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage quality expectations and conduct supplier audits.
- Analyze quality data and prepare quality reports for management review.
- Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor quality trends and performance metrics.
- Support manufacturing processes by providing quality training and promoting quality awareness among staff.
- Lead continual improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, and quality management in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and methodologies, including Six Sigma and statistical analysis.
- Experience in defect analysis, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective action and preventive action (CAPA).
- Familiarity with product inspection techniques and quality reporting standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with supplier management and conducting supplier audits is a plus.
