Base Salary: $110k-$130k (DOE)

What You Will Be Doing

• Supervise Chemist and QC Technicians to ensure that product quality and technical services meets or exceeds customer expectations
• implements and the enforcement of ISO-compliant Quality Control Procedures throughout the processes
• Plans and leads all plant-wide quality and yield improvement activities
• Monitors technical, product, and process developments
• Provides corrective actions to eliminate quality issues or field rejections
• Analyzes KPI variables to diagnose problems that result in poor quality, yield loss and field rejections of the finished product
• Responsible for specification and evaluation of all incoming raw materials (ie: pales, chemicals, solvents, packaging materials)
• Ensures compliance of raw material suppliers to company standards and responsible for all of the Quality Assurance Systems in place to produce and evaluate finished products
  
  

What You Need for this Position

• 5 Years of Quality Engineering and Management experience in Industrial MFG or Chemistry environment
• Experience leading a lab and experience leading quality improvements on the floor
• Knowledge of control plans with experience developing them
• Experience leading and creating FMEA, CAPA's, RCA's
• Experienced with ISO 9001 QMS
• FTIR Lab equipment experience and Chemistry background is a plus
