Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters
- preparing for trial and court appearances
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, negotiations and trial
- JD
- Passed CA bar
- 3 years of experience in Civil Litigation for Insurance Defense
- Proven track record of experience in Depositions, Motions
- Trial experience is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Defense side experience specializing in any of the following:
- Labor & Employment, General Liability, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Slip Fall, Dog Bite, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Professional Liability, Business Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Auto on Auto, OR Construction Defect
- UNLIMITED PTO
- John Hancock 401(k)
- 10 PAID vacation days per year

- Flexible Work schedule: REMOTE, Hybrid, OR In-Office (depends on candidate)
- Base Salary is flexible, general range is $140-190k base Depending on Experience
- additional production bonus opportunity up to $45,000 per year (paid quarterly)
- Possible Total Compensation Opportunity is generally approx ~$140-235k annually
