The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of Gallium Nitride (GaN) devices, focusing on optimizing performance, reliability, and packaging. This role requires a deep understanding of GaN technology and device design principles to drive product advancements in high-power applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of GaN devices and discrete power components.
- Optimize device performance and reliability through innovative design methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product integration and launch.
- Conduct TCAD simulations to predict device behavior and performance.
- Perform characterization and testing of GaN devices to validate design specifications.
- Oversee the device layout and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement packaging solutions to enhance device performance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in GaN technology and best practices.
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GaN device design and development.
- Strong knowledge of GaN technology and its applications in power electronics.
- Proficiency in TCAD tools and device characterization techniques.
- Experience with discrete power devices and reliability testing.
- Familiarity with device layout processes and packaging solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Salary : $150,000 - $225,000
