Key Responsibilities
- Design roadway systems and infrastructure projects using Microstation and AutoCAD software.
- Conduct traffic analyses and modeling to inform roadway design and improvements.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders, including DOT and ODOT officials, to ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents for roadway projects.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for existing roadways and transportation systems.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design progress and challenges.
- Assist in the management of construction activities to ensure project quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in roadway design and transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, and Geopak software.
- Strong understanding of roadway construction and traffic flow principles.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
