The Roofing Estimator is responsible for assessing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and managing bids for roofing projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and schedule, while meeting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing projects including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project conditions.
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors for accurate project assessments.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals for roofing projects.
- Analyze costs and project data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documents.
- Proven experience as a roofing estimator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems including commercial and residential applications.
- Familiarity with EPDM, metal roofing, and tile roofing.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed and accurate bid proposals.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
