The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems for commercial and industrial buildings. This position requires a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently on rooftops.
Key Responsibilities
- Install roofing systems on commercial and industrial buildings according to specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of roofs to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Apply waterproofing materials to roofs to prevent leaks and water damage.
- Install low slope roofing systems and sheet metal roofing as required.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of roofing projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any issues.
- Proven experience as a Roofing Installer or similar position in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques, specifically for commercial and industrial applications.
- Familiarity with government regulations and industry standards related to roofing and construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
