This role is focused on leveraging industry experience to develop and implement effective sales strategies while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prior experience selling to Army/Military/DoD customers required
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets within the DoD sector.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, including Army customers and prime system integrators.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities.
- Conduct presentations and negotiations with potential clients to secure contracts and agreements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and account management activities to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in sales or account management, with a focus on the Department of Defense industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of DOD requirements, tactical communications, and strategic planning processes.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales analytics.
- Understand soldier systems - Knowledge of Tactical Waveforms and Communication Technologies for Army customer
- Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
