Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Remote, Central US up to 40% regional travel

Compensation: Base $70K-$85K (DOE) Up to 20% bonus (OTE: $84K-$102K)

Who We Are: We are a manufacturer of electronic components (connectors, interconnects, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, etc.) for a variety of applications in consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive, wearables, etc.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team, responsible for driving business development and managing customer accounts alongside the Regional Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of interconnect solutions and demonstrate exceptional sales skills to effectively communicate the value of our products to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and quotations for clients.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product selection and applications.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote our products and services.

Qualifications

  • 3 years Sales Engineer or in a similar role in business development.
  • OR 3 years electronic component experience with an interest in sales engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Willing/able to travel up to 40% within region
  • Strong understanding of interconnect and connector technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
