Position Overview
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all sanitation operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for production. This role is crucial in the food processing industry to uphold product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train sanitation staff in proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sanitation practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards including HAACP and GMP regulations.
- Coordinate and manage daily sanitation schedules to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks.
- Monitor the sanitation processes and maintain records of cleaning activities, chemicals used, and equipment cleaned.
- Ensure proper handling and repackaging of products in compliance with sanitation guidelines.
- Evaluate and improve sanitation processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
