Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing SCADA systems that meet the operational needs of our clients. You will work closely with engineering and IT teams to integrate advanced control systems and ensure the security and efficiency of industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SCADA solutions for our water treatment plants
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to implement SCADA systems.
- Evaluate and select appropriate PLCs and SCADA software solutions.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to operational teams on SCADA systems.
- Monitor and optimize SCADA system performance and security.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in SCADA and control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience working with SCADA platforms - system design, architecture/engineering, programming,etc.
- Solid understanding of PLC programming -- Ladder Logic, Function Block,etc.
- Proven experience working with Industrial Control Systems
- Familiarity with Ignition and Wonderware preferred
- Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) and Cyber Security best practices
- Experience with industrial control systems, particularly in water treatment or similar sectors
- Knowledge of IPv4 networking
- Knowledge of serial and Ethernet communication protocols -- Modbus, TCP/IP, CIP, etc.
