Position Overview

The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is crucial for supporting our business operations and providing insights into financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in management of the full accounting cycle, including monthly financial reporting, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Review outsourced property accounting calculations for accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee accounting of 2-3 small properties
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and working with external auditors.
- Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
- Other duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of accounting experience in real estate or property accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Yardi accounting software is required.
- Proficient in financial reporting, month-end close processes, and GAAP standards.
- Knowledge of private equity and real estate accounting principles is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- $80,000-95,000 salary
