We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Attorney specializing in Civil Defense to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil law and a proven track record of successfully defending clients in various civil litigation matters. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil defense litigation cases in court and during settlement negotiations.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Develop and execute effective legal strategies for case management and resolution.
- Communicate with clients to keep them informed about their cases and provide expert legal advice.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case preparation and support.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary to advocate for clients.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting civil defense cases.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar license to practice law.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil defense litigation.
- Strong understanding of civil law and courtroom procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Competitive Base Salary ($100k - $200k DOE)
